This study surveyed pharmacists in six states to explore their perceptions and experiences with Community Health Workers (CHWs). Of the 163 respondents, 35.6% reported working with CHWs, while 64.4% had not. Most expressed strong interest in continuing or starting collaborations with CHWs. Pharmacists identified several benefits of CHW involvement, including improved patient outcomes, healthcare knowledge and increased medication adherence. The findings highlight the importance of fostering pharmacist-CHW relationships to enhance patient care in community pharmacy settings.
