In Rwanda, malaria is a significant health concern, especially for children under five. This study examined the availability of antimalarial medicines and inventory management by Community Health Workers (CHWs) in Bugesera District. Findings showed that CHWs play a vital role in providing antimalarial medicines, with most people accessing them easily from CHWs or health centers. However, challenges such as transportation barriers and inadequate storage conditions were identified. Addressing these challenges can improve access to antimalarial medicines and strengthen the CHW system in Rwanda.
