High blood pressure is a major health risk, especially in places like Curaçao. This study looked at a health fair run by Community Health Workers and local faith groups to raise awareness and encourage healthy habits. Of the 145 people who attended, most rated the event highly, planned to make lifestyle changes, share what they learned, or visit a doctor. The results show that community-led events can be an effective way to improve knowledge and prevent chronic diseases like hypertension.
