This study reports on the creation and delivery of a self-instructional course on oral cancer for Community Health Workers via a Telehealth platform, analyzing the participants’ demographic and clinical profiles. The course, titled “Abre a boca, meu povo! – O que você precisa saber sobre o câncer de boca,” was developed using the ADDIE Instructional Design model and delivered online. It included a student guide, initial survey, four video modules, pre- and post-tests, a satisfaction survey, and a certificate, prioritizing simplicity, clarity, and objectivity. A total of 205 Community Health Workers participated, predominantly women aged 40-49 with over 10 years of experience. The course successfully met its objectives, with a satisfactory number of participants in its first edition.
