This study in Ethiopia aimed to understand the factors influencing the use of traditional birth attendants (TBAs) among women of reproductive age. It found that 29.76% of mothers used TBAs for delivery. Key factors included lower education levels, fewer antenatal care visits, higher poverty, and living in remote regions. The study suggests that to reduce reliance on TBAs, efforts should focus on educating women, improving access to quality prenatal care, and providing support for mothers in rural areas.
