Malaria is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in Africa. This study explored the needs of CHWs In Kenya, CHWs were leveraged to address management of malaria cases in communities (CCMm). The authors explored what CHWs need to sustain CCMm services. The found that program managers recognize the need for training and continuing education and that CHWs stressed the need for equipment and supplies including gloves and diagnostic kits, but also gumboots, mobile phones, umbrellas and transportation.
